Fatal Pasco shooting death of Danny G. Engstrom – Obituary
PASCO, WA — Danny G. Engstrom, 38, was fatally shot Sunday night near the gas pumps outside the Pik-A-Pop convenience store at Fourth Avenue and Jan Street, according to the Pasco Coroner’s Office. An autopsy confirmed he died from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
Engstrom, a father of two teenagers, was known locally for operating a game streaming channel under the name “Danny Stranger.” Police said three men were found near the scene and claimed they fired in self-defense after an alleged confrontation, though authorities have not confirmed this account. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Pasco police stated they know all individuals involved and believe the incident was isolated. This marks the second homicide in Pasco within a week, separate from the death of 39-year-old Cesar Diaz-Avila on March 2.
