Fatal Harnett County NC-87 crash death of Romeo Mason Fleck – Obituary

Romeo Mason Fleck, 22, of Harrisonburg, Pennsylvania, was killed early Saturday morning in a head-on collision on NC Highway 87 near Broadway Road in Harnett County, North Carolina. The crash involved a Toyota Camry, in which Fleck was traveling with two others, and a Chevy Z71 pickup.

Fleck and fellow passenger Charles Jackson, 21, from Efland, were both pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup, William Tyler Underwood, 28, of Sanford, also died in the crash. A third passenger in the Camry, Aydrian Larusch, was critically injured and remains hospitalized. Fleck and Jackson, both soldiers stationed at Fort Bragg, were serving in the 82nd Airborne Division. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances that led to the collision.
