Fatal Montgomery County shooting death of Lascelle Lee IV – Obituary

Lascelle Lee IV, a 6-year-old boy, died Tuesday afternoon in an accidental shooting inside a Montgomery Village townhome. Montgomery County Police reported that officers and fire rescue personnel were called to the 10100 block of Maple Leaf Drive around 2:45 p.m. on February 17, 2026, following a report of a gunshot.

First responders found Lee with a gunshot wound to the face. Despite immediate life-saving efforts at the scene, he was pronounced dead. Authorities have classified the incident as an accidental shooting, with no evidence of foul play. At the time, Lee was in the residence with a single adult, who contacted 9-1-1 for help.
