Authorities have confirmed the identity of a woman who lost her life following a rollover collision along Highway 14 in Cantil. The Kern County Coroner’s Office reported that Kristi Lynne Vivian, 50, who lived in Ridgecrest, was the victim of the deadly incident.

According to officials, the crash happened on the morning of February 20, 2026, at approximately 7:27 a.m. Investigators said Vivian was operating her vehicle northbound on Highway 14 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the road.

After departing from the highway near Redrock Randsburg Road, the vehicle overturned, resulting in fatal injuries. Officials continue to document the circumstances surrounding the crash.
