Fatal U.S. 287 crash death of Douglas Gin of Boulder County – Obituary
The Boulder County Coroner’s Office has identified Douglas Gin, 58, as the individual who perished in a collision on U.S. 287 on Friday.
At approximately 1:14 p.m. Friday, emergency services received reports of a high-speed head-on collision involving five vehicles at the intersection of U.S. 287 and Oxford Road, according to Rick Tillery, spokesperson for Mountain View Fire Rescue.
Tillery reported that four other individuals were transported to the hospital, while two individuals declined treatment at the scene.
Authorities from the Colorado State Patrol and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
