A 27-year-old woman lost her life following a late-night two-vehicle collision on a Los Angeles freeway.

Authorities reported that Kate Claros was involved in the crash on February 28, 2026, while traveling on the southbound 110 Freeway just north of Imperial Highway. Claros was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the accident.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the crash, which occurred around 11:50 p.m. Officials with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Claros died at the scene from blunt traumatic injuries sustained in the collision.
