Fatal Biloxi train accident death of Grassney Tucker – Obituary

Grassney Tucker, 43, of Gulfport, was killed Wednesday morning after being struck by an Amtrak train along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Biloxi police reported that Tucker was walking on the tracks near Irish Hill Drive and Rodenberg Avenue when the westbound train hit him at approximately 7:55 a.m.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Tucker was pronounced dead. The incident caused a brief disruption to train service, which was cleared by 9:30 a.m. Authorities confirmed that the investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing.
