Fatal Kettering motorcycle crash death of Gregory Martin – Obituary
Last week, a tragic incident claimed the life of Gregory Martin, 63, following a serious crash in Kettering.
The Montgomery County Coroner confirmed Gregory Martin as the victim.
The collision occurred around 6:32 p.m. on July 9 at the intersection of Sutton Avenue and Beaverton Drive. Kettering police responded promptly to the scene where a motorcycle and car had collided.
Initial investigations, based on witness accounts and video evidence from the area, indicated that the car involved had failed to obey a stop sign, leading to the collision with the motorcycle.
Gregory Martin sustained critical injuries and was swiftly transported to Miami Valley Hospital. Unfortunately, despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
The driver of the car suffered minor injuries, primarily scratches on the arm, and received treatment on-site, as reported by local law enforcement.
The Tactical Crime Suppression Unit has since been deployed to investigate further details surrounding the crash.
