Fatal Bartonville crash death of Carlos P. Martinez – Obituary
Carlos P. Martinez, 90, of Bartonville, was killed Tuesday after being struck by a vehicle on the 300 block of Keller Street, near his home. Martinez sustained severe blunt force injuries and was taken to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, where he was pronounced dead at 2:27 p.m.
Authorities reported that Martinez was initially conscious after the collision, but his condition rapidly worsened. The Bartonville Police Department and Illinois State Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
