Fatal Greensboro wrong-way crash death of Jeremy Love – Obituary
Jeremy Love, 36, of Kernersville, was killed in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 40 in Greensboro on March 18. Authorities described the collision as a high-speed crash involving a Honda CRV that was traveling the wrong way off the Sandy Ridge Road exit ramp.
The impact caused two other vehicles to ignite, prompting firefighters to redirect traffic while extinguishing the flames. Emergency responders, including Greensboro Police, Greensboro Fire, and Guilford County EMS, arrived at the scene around 12:09 p.m.
Love was pronounced dead at the scene, while the drivers of the other vehicles were taken to nearby hospitals with injuries that were not life-threatening. Greensboro’s Crash Reconstruction Unit is continuing its investigation into the incident.
