Fatal Oklahoma City shooting death of Robert Battle – Obituary
Authorities in Oklahoma City reported that on July 10, officers were called to an apartment complex on W. Wilshire Blvd. following reports of gunfire around 11:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that Robert Battle, aged 31, had been involved in a dispute in the parking lot which escalated into a shooting. He attempted to flee but was shot. Battle was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Oklahoma City Police Department has apprehended four individuals in connection with the incident. Those taken into custody include 29-year-old Kenny Franklin, 24-year-old Kamya Kearny, 33-year-old Dustin Giles, and 27-year-old Kobi Crossley. They are facing charges of murder related to Battle’s death.
