Fatal Asheboro shooting death of Daniel John Jarrell – Obituary
In Asheboro, North Carolina, a man has been charged with murder following the death of his housemate, according to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.
On the morning of Friday, July 19, deputies responded to a shooting incident on Pisgah Road. Upon arrival, they discovered Daniel John Jarrell with fatal gunshot wounds. The alleged shooter, Joshua Eric Sanders, was found at the scene as well.
Joshua Eric Sanders has been taken into custody and is charged with first-degree murder.
The two individuals involved were cohabitants, living together at the same residence.
The investigation into the case is ongoing. Sanders has been denied bail and is scheduled to make his initial court appearance on July 22, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
