Fatal Brooklyn stabbing death of Fayzieva Mavlyuda – Obituary
A man has been taken into custody following the fatal stabbing of two children and two women inside a Brooklyn residence on Friday night, according to police.
Authorities have identified the suspect as 24-year-old Shahboz Rajabboev, a Brooklyn resident.
Rajabboev faces charges of four counts of first-degree murder and four counts of second-degree murder, police reported.
The police received a report of an ongoing assault at Avenue P and West 8th Street in Bensonhurst around 10 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 56-year-old Fayzieva Mavlyuda with multiple stab wounds to her neck.
Additionally, they found 27-year-old Maftuna Khakimova, a 4-year-old boy named Timur Shavkatov, and a 5-year-old girl named Kamila Shavkatova.
The victims have been identified as Fayzieva Mavlyuda, Maftuna Khakimova, Kamila Shavkatova, and Timur Shavkatov, all from Brooklyn.
Police stated that Mavlyuda was the grandmother and Shavkatova the mother of both children.
All four victims were declared dead at the scene.
The motive for the stabbings remains unclear at this time.
The investigation is still ongoing.
