Fatal Houston shooting death of Abraham Choukair – Obituary
A 14-year-old named Abraham Choukair was found deceased after being shot while inside a vehicle in Houston on Saturday.
Police were dispatched to 8800 Hammerly Blvd. around 12:45 p.m. following reports of a shooting incident. Upon arrival, officers discovered Choukair in the driver’s seat of a parked car with a gunshot wound. He was unresponsive, and the Houston Fire Department declared him dead at the scene.
Authorities are currently investigating the murder of Choukair. Reports indicate he was last seen conversing with a Hispanic female, who was then followed by a Hispanic male wearing a black hoodie, blue pants, and black sandals. The male also had a black and white Nike backpack. It is believed that this pair was observed entering an apartment complex near the time of the shooting.
The victim has been identified by his family as Abraham Choukair. Anyone with information regarding the suspects is urged to reach out to the HPD homicide division or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
