Fatal Rankin County car crash death of Marcie Errington – Obituary
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is looking into a tragic incident where Marcie Errington was struck and killed near a restaurant in Rankin County.
The accident occurred on Saturday evening close to Sunset Grill. Authorities report that a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 67-year-old Donnie Taylor from Brandon, collided with Errington, who was 41 years old and from Crystal Springs.
Errington was declared dead at the scene.
Troopers noted that Taylor was unharmed in the collision.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
