Fatal west Lincoln car crash death of John Wayne Gross – Obituary
Authorities have identified the pedestrian killed on Saturday in a collision in west Lincoln.
The Lincoln Police Department reported that 62-year-old John Wayne Gross was in the median close to Sun Valley Boulevard and West O Street when he was struck by a vehicle.
Gross was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver, 30-year-old Vanesa Nicole Williams, was found to be under the influence of drugs, police said.
Williams was arrested on suspicion of felony motor vehicle homicide.
