Fatal Derry Township car crash death of Amanda Thome – Obituary
Authorities have identified Amanda Thome, 36, as the sole victim in a single-vehicle accident that occurred on State Route 322 on the morning of July 19.
According to the Derry Township Police Department, Thome was speeding when she lost control of her vehicle, which then veered off the road and collided with a tree. Thome was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the crash, State Route 322 was closed between Meadow Lane in Derry Township and Larkspur Drive in South Londonderry Township, though it has since been reopened. The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is still ongoing.
