A woman from Colorado Springs, identified as 75-year-old Noi Barrow, lost her life in a tragic accident in Cimarron Hills on Sunday afternoon, according to the El Paso County Coroner’s Office.
Barrow succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital after a head-on collision at the intersection of N. Marksheffel Road and N. Carefree Circle, as per a press release from the Colorado State Patrol.

The Colorado State Patrol spokesperson stated that the first vehicle involved was driven by a 41-year-old woman from Colorado Springs, who had a juvenile passenger. Both sustained serious injuries and were transported to the hospital.
Noi Barrow was driving the second vehicle, with a juvenile passenger who is also hospitalized with serious injuries.
The Colorado State Patrol continues to investigate the crash, with charges pending. At this time, investigators do not believe that alcohol, drugs, or excessive speed contributed to the accident.
