The law enforcement unit of the twin-island Caribbean nation is investigating a tragic murder case involving a young man at his residence in Rio Claro.
Keston Alexander, a 23-year-old local known as Milky, was fatally shot on Saturday evening, July 20, around 6:00 PM. The incident occurred at his home on Poole Valley Road, Guayaguayare Road, Rio Claro.
According to reports, Keston Alexander was attacked by two armed suspects who approached him while he was bathing outside his house.
The assailants, who were reportedly armed with deadly weapons, ambushed him in the outdoor bathroom area, making it easy for them to reach him.
The suspects shot Alexander multiple times, resulting in his death. Despite his attempt to escape, he collapsed at some distance from the attack site. The gunmen fled the scene before authorities arrived.
Police were alerted to the shooting and responded promptly. They secured the crime scene and began an investigation. Officers discovered Alexander’s body covered in blood and gunshot wounds. A search of the area revealed several 9 mm bullet shells. The investigation into this violent crime is ongoing.
