Fatal Johnston County house fire death of Kyle Trabel and Miriah Woody – Obituary
On Sunday morning, Kyle Trabel’s family requested a welfare check at his residence on Scout Road in Four Oaks. Johnston County Sheriff’s deputies responded to find heavy smoke emanating from the house and promptly summoned the fire department.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze and discovered Trabel and Woody deceased in the master bedroom.
Both individuals were found to have suffered gunshot wounds. Authorities revealed that Trabel and Woody were in a relationship and cohabited. Additionally, several dogs perished in the fire.
At this time, deputies are not pursuing any suspects as the investigation continues.
