Jerrell Rogers, a 22-year-old man, was fatally shot in southwest Fresno on Sunday evening. The incident occurred shortly before 11 p.m. at the intersection of Modoc Street and Strother Avenue.
According to law enforcement, Rogers was en route to a store when he was approached by a group of men. The group pursued Rogers before he was shot. Despite efforts by police to save his life, Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene.
