The Sheboygan Police Department has identified the man discovered in Lake Michigan on July 18th as Clifford Cieslewicz, a 54-year-old resident of Wrightstown, Wisconsin.
Cieslewicz was surfing that morning when he was found unresponsive, floating with his surfboard near Blue Harbor Resort. A passing individual rescued him from the water and performed CPR until emergency responders arrived.
Despite their efforts, they were unable to revive him. The exact cause of death remains undetermined, though there were no signs of foul play.
