Gregory Scott Bumm dies in fatal Vanderburgh County crash
Authorities have identified Gregory Scott Bumm, a 67-year-old resident of Owensboro, as the individual who lost his life in a vehicle accident on Waterworks Road.
According to WNIN’s John Gibson, the incident occurred yesterday afternoon when Bumm’s vehicle overturned near U.S. 41.
Bumm was ejected from the car and transported to Deaconess Midtown Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The coroner’s report indicated that Bumm succumbed to “multiple blunt force trauma.”
The crash led to the closure of Waterworks Road between LST Drive and U.S. 41 for the duration of the investigation. The road has since been reopened.
