Authorities from the Kernersville Police Department have reported that a man was killed in a shooting at a local grocery store.
On Wednesday at approximately 10:41 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Food Lion located at 1535 Union Cross Road following reports of a shooting incident.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Marco Vargas Arellano, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The 40-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. Another individual was also identified at the location.
