Killian dies in fatal Alameda City shooting

Fatal Alameda City shooting death of Killian – Obituary

Alameda City Police Chief Nishant Joshi revealed during a Thursday press conference that officers were alerted to a shooting by a neighbor. When they arrived at the scene, they encountered Killian at the entrance of the residence. Joshi noted, “He did not resist. I believe he was taken aback by the prompt arrival of our officers.”

Upon entering the home, the officers discovered Killian’s family members with gunshot wounds. Killian was subsequently detained. The authorities have not yet disclosed a motive, though Joshi indicated that they have some understanding of the situation.

“This is a tragic and sorrowful event,” Joshi remarked, describing the incident as “the actions of a coward.”

Court documents obtained by KTVU reveal that two firearms were recovered from the location, an AR-type rifle and a semiautomatic pistol, both believed to be involved in the shooting.

Killian is set to face arraignment on July 22. The public defender assigned to his case has not provided any comments when approached by HuffPost.

“This is deeply distressing for us,” said Alameda Little League President Ron Matthews, who knew William. “The innocence of these children, particularly at the age of 6, is undeniable. It’s heartbreaking for something so tragic to happen to such young lives, including a 1-year-old baby.”

Natali’s surviving family is currently fundraising to repatriate their remains to El Salvador, where many of their relatives reside, according to their GoFundMe page.
