Fatal Allen County hit-and-run crash death of Brad Anthony Nacio – Obituary
The Allen County Coroner’s Office has officially identified the victim of a hit-and-run incident on I-69 early Thursday morning as Brad Anthony Nacio, an Indianapolis resident.
The Allen County Sheriff’s Department reported that the collision occurred at approximately 3:20 a.m. on Thursday, in the northbound lanes of I-69 at Union Chapel Road.
Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered a disabled semi-truck parked on the side and a deceased individual on the highway.
Authorities recovered parts from another semi-truck, which they believe was also involved in the crash. They are currently searching for a red or maroon Volvo semi-tractor with damage to its front passenger side and a missing mirror. Anyone with information is urged to contact the department at 260-449-3000.
On Friday, the Allen County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as 48-year-old Brad Anthony Nacio of Indianapolis.
The death was classified as an accident, marking the 20th motor vehicle fatality in Allen County this year.
