The families of four young men who lost their lives in a tragic accident near Cheltenham have shared heartfelt tributes to their beloved ones.
The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday, July 21, when a black Renault Clio lost control on the A436 in Ullenwood and collided with a tree.
The deceased have been identified as 18-year-old Andrei Tudorov, who was visiting Gloucestershire from Romania, and three 20-year-olds: Lyuben Gogov, Narcis Titianu, and Ioan Toma. Lyuben, a Bulgarian national, and Narcis and Ioan, both Romanian nationals, were residing in Gloucester.
Andrei Tudorov’s mother, Iolanda, offered a moving tribute to her son. She expressed: “This was Andrei, my dream-filled child. He was preparing to take his Baccalaureate and planned to move to Câmpina with hopes of becoming a police officer.
“Andrei had been involved in sports since he was four. He was a warm-hearted individual, a loving brother, and an angel who departed too early, leaving an immense void in both his family and his friends.”
Narcis Titianu’s family remembered him as a young man who left a significant mark on everyone he encountered. They shared: “As the youngest of three siblings, Narcis infused love and joy into the lives of his family and friends. His move to the UK nearly four years ago was driven by his ambition to create a future for himself, demonstrating his bravery and determination.
“Narcis was highly regarded and respected wherever he worked. His intellect and steadfast resolve made him stand out. He had a deep passion for nature and animals, especially cats, and took pleasure in building his own computer and playing video games with his brother, brother-in-law, and friends.”
