Fatal Brownwood rollover crash death of Serenity Da’Nae New – Obituary
Family members have identified Serenity Da’Nae New, a 16-year-old Brownwood High School cheerleader, as the victim of a tragic rollover accident that occurred on Thursday night.
The crash took place on County Road 225 shortly after 8:00 p.m. Two other teenage girls, ages 16 and 17, were injured in the incident.
According to a statement from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the vehicle carrying the three teens was traveling south at a dangerously high speed given the road conditions.

New was an active member of the Brownwood Lions varsity cheerleading team, and her brother is a player on the school’s football team.
