Levi Polk, a 37-year-old resident of Huachuca City, has been identified as the victim who passed away after being struck by a semi-truck on Interstate 10 near Mescal early Monday morning.
Polk was reportedly walking on the highway when the westbound truck, traveling in the number 2 lane near milepost 299, collided with him. Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers arrived at the scene shortly after the accident, which occurred around 3:30 a.m.
