Kenyan Saxton-Reese of Greensboro, North Carolina, dies in fatal Triad crash

Three teenagers have been identified after a deadly crash in the Triad area, according to troopers with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
On July 17, around 2:15 a.m., officers from the Greensboro Police Department were conducting a routine patrol along West Market Street when they observed a Nissan Altima traveling in the wrong direction.
Troopers reported that the officers attempted to stop the Altima, but the driver did not comply, leading to a pursuit.
The Altima continued onto Walker Avenue, where it collided head-on with a Greensboro PD patrol vehicle that was responding to assist. Officials noted that a fire broke out following the crash.
The officers managed to rescue the occupants of the Altima, who were identified as 14-year-old Kenyan Saxton-Reese, the driver, 14-year-old Brandon Bowie, and 15-year-old Derrion Legrand.
Despite efforts to provide aid, all three teenagers succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
