Fatal Crystal Springs energy facility death of Rodney Smith – Obituary
A 53-year-old man, identified as Rodney Smith, was discovered deceased at the Hitachi Energy USA site in Crystal Springs on Thursday morning.
According to Copiah County Coroner Ellis Stuart, the incident occurred at the facility located on Kuhlman Drive. Crystal Springs Police Chief Tony Hemphill confirmed that Smith was an employee at Hitachi Energy.
