Fort Worth authorities are seeking leads on a vehicle that sped away from a tragic hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of a motorcyclist on Thursday.
At approximately 5:45 p.m. Thursday, officers arrived at a severe accident scene on Alliance Gateway Freeway near Alta Vista Road in northern Fort Worth.
When they reached the location, they discovered a motorcyclist had collided with another vehicle.
Emergency services, including the Fort Worth Fire Department and MedStar, also arrived to administer aid. Despite their efforts, the motorcyclist, identified as 28-year-old Danny Nguyen by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office, was declared dead at the scene.
The vehicle involved in the crash fled before authorities arrived.
Police describe the suspect vehicle as a dark blue convertible Camaro with a soft top, featuring blacked-out rims and tail lights, and noticeable damage on the passenger side.
