Fatal West Columbus shooting death of Dajuan Rios – Obituary
Columbus police are investigating the fatal shooting of 36-year-old Dajuan Rios in a West Columbus neighborhood. Officers responded to a call about a shooting in the 800 block of Murray Avenue shortly before 11:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found Rios in the front yard of a home with a gunshot wound.Rios was rushed to Grant Medical Center in critical condition but was pronounced dead at the hospital just before 3:30 a.m. Authorities have not yet identified any suspects and are working to uncover the events that led to the shooting.Anyone with information is urged to contact Columbus police at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477.
