Fatal Mobile apartment shooting death of Jermaine Thomas – Obituary
Mobile Police Department officers have identified Jermaine Thomas, 25, as the victim killed in a shooting at an apartment complex.
The incident occurred on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at around 10:58 a.m. at Stone Ridge Apartments, located at 1200 Somerby Drive.
Officers responding to the scene found Thomas dead from a gunshot wound inside an apartment.
The investigation revealed that Thomas had forcibly entered the apartment to confront someone known to him. During the confrontation, another person inside the unit shot Thomas.
Authorities are currently searching for the shooter. As of Sunday evening, the investigation remains ongoing with no additional details available.
