Fatal Madison County crash death of Rafael Cruz-Fermaint – Obituary
In a tragic accident early Friday morning in rural Madison County, two men lost their lives and a woman sustained injuries, according to an Arkansas State Police report. Rafael Cruz-Fermaint, 40, from Springdale, and Ulises Lemus-Tobar, 19, from Rogers, were killed, while Lisa Hussey, 56, from Berryville, was hurt in the incident.
Cruz-Fermaint was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla southbound on Arkansas 45 around 5:25 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle. The car veered into the opposite lane and collided with a northbound 2021 Toyota pickup driven by Hussey. Lemus-Tobar was a passenger in Cruz-Fermaint’s car.
Following the impact, Cruz-Fermaint’s vehicle overturned and ended up on its side. At the time of the crash, the weather was clear and the road was dry.
