Richard Tayman Jr., 51, of Oxford, was identified by Maine State Police as the man shot and killed in Poland on Friday night.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta has confirmed that Tayman’s death was caused by a single gunshot wound and has been ruled a homicide.
Authorities report that the individual responsible for the shooting is cooperating with the investigation.
