Fatal Casper motorcycle crash death of Aart Groenenduk – Obituary
A resident from the Netherlands, Aart Groenenduk, tragically passed away following a motorcycle accident near Casper, Wyoming. Preliminary findings from the Wyoming Highway Patrol indicate that a group of six motorcyclists was traveling east on US 20/26 when the lead bike slowed down to make a turn onto an adjoining road at mile marker 59. The fourth motorcycle in the procession did not reduce speed in time, resulting in a collision with the third bike.
In the ensuing crash, Groenenduk, who was riding the fourth motorcycle, was thrown from the vehicle and landed on the roadway.
The accident occurred just before 12:30 p.m. under clear and dry conditions. The Wyoming Highway Patrol is considering driver inattention as a potential contributing factor.
