13-Year-Old Jayden Mazariegos-Ceballos Dies in Fatal Ridgecrest Motorcycle Crash
Fatal Ridgecrest motorcycle crash death of 13-year-old Jayden Mazariegos-Ceballos – Obituary
The Kern County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the young victim in a recent motorbike accident as 13-year-old Jayden Mazariegos-Ceballos from Ridgecrest.
On May 17, officers from the Ridgecrest Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of South Sunland Street and East Bowman Road following reports of a motorcycle collision with a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers provided immediate aid to Mazariegos-Ceballos until Liberty Ambulance and Kern County Fire Department personnel arrived on the scene.
Mazariegos-Ceballos was transported to Ridgecrest Regional Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
An investigation by the Ridgecrest Police Department revealed that Mazariegos-Ceballos was traveling northbound on South Sunland Street when he failed to stop at a designated stop sign, resulting in a collision with a westbound vehicle on East Bowman Road.
