Authorities have identified the woman who was found deceased earlier this week in Burlington. The Burlington Police Department is currently investigating the tragic incident reported on Monday evening.
The police received an alert about an unresponsive woman at a residence on Elmwood Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. Upon arrival, officers and fire personnel confirmed the woman’s death. She has been named as 60-year-old Tina Mullen from Burlington.
The Detective Services Bureau is handling the investigation, while the Chief Medical Examiner is reviewing the cause and manner of death. At this stage, police have indicated that there is no indication of any threat to the community.
