Authorities have identified the individual who lost his life in a shooting incident in Lemon Grove, located east of Lemon Grove Park.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 11 p.m. on Wednesday and discovered Darron Singleton Jr. lying on the ground in the 2200 block of Dain Court, with gunshot wounds to his torso, as reported by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Currently, the shooter or shooters remain unidentified and are still at large, with the motive behind the shooting still unclear, according to sheriff’s officials.
