Elicio Paco Sanorico Bocanegra dies in fatal Everett shooting
Fatal Everett shooting death of Elicio Paco Sanorico Bocanegra – Obituary.
On Sunday afternoon, a double shooting in south Everett resulted in the death of 18-year-old Elicio Paco Sanorico Bocanegra, who killed Kevin Rodriguez Arcinas, also 18 and from Auburn, according to police reports.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:05 p.m. at the Park View Apartments located on 1126 W Casino Road. During the altercation, Sanorico Bocanegra fatally shot Arcinas and also injured a woman, who was later hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Following the shooting, Sanorico Bocanegra fled the scene, prompting police to initiate a pursuit that began near 19th Avenue SE and El Capitan Way. The chase continued onto I-5 northbound.
After a brief pursuit, Sanorico Bocanegra crashed his vehicle on I-5, north of Highway 526. Shortly thereafter, officers heard gunfire coming from inside his car. Upon approaching, they discovered Sanorico Bocanegra deceased
