Johnathan Hebrada-Walters dies in fatal Langley, B.C., shooting
Fatal Langley, B.C., shooting death of Johnathan Hebrada-Walters – Obituary.
Authorities have identified 38-year-old Johnathan Hebrada-Walters, from Edmonton, as the victim in a deadly shooting in Langley, B.C., that took place on Saturday evening. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) reported that they received reports of gunfire around 6 p.m. near 196 Street and 84 Avenue.
Hebrada-Walters was pronounced dead at the scene, and police have stated he was known to law enforcement, with the incident believed to be connected to the ongoing gang conflict in British Columbia.
A second individual, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was found a few blocks away at 208 Street and 78 Avenue. Authorities are working to determine any connections between the victims.
The investigation is ongoing, and officials are urging anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from the area between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to come forward.
