Taysean Nash dies in fatal Portland shooting
Fatal Portland shooting death of Taysean Nash – Obituary.
A 24-year-old man, Taysean Nash, was tragically shot and killed at a MAX platform in northeast Portland last week. The incident occurred on Thursday, September 19, around 7:30 p.m., when police were called to the scene at Northeast 148th Avenue and East Burnside Street, where they discovered Nash deceased.
The medical examiner ruled Nash’s death a homicide due to a gunshot wound. In a statement released by his family, they expressed, “He touched many lives and had friends from all walks of life. He loved and protected ALL of his siblings no matter what. And he is VERY LOVED by many.”
Following the shooting, authorities arrested 42-year-old Felix Angelo Juarez-Perez, who has since been charged with second-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon, and is currently held at the Multnomah County Jail.
