George F. Leach dies in fatal Butte County crash
Fatal Butte County crash death of George F. Leach – Obituary.
The Department of Public Safety has identified the victim of a tragic crash that occurred near Belle Fourche. George F. Leach, an 85-year-old man, was involved in the accident on Monday when a truck traveling westbound on US Highway 212 crossed into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with his GMC truck.
Leach was rushed to a hospital in Rapid City, where he succumbed to life-threatening injuries sustained in the collision.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
