Karl Trayvilla and John Nealis die in fatal San Diego-area motorcycle crashes
Fatal San Diego-area motorcycle crashes claim lives of Karl Trayvilla and John Nealis – Obituaries.
Authorities have identified the two men who died in separate motorcycle accidents over the past three days in the San Diego area.
The first accident occurred on Saturday afternoon when 30-year-old Karl Trayvilla of Carlsbad was riding his motorcycle southbound on South Coast Highway in Oceanside. Trayvilla collided with another motorcyclist near West Street, causing him to fall onto the road where he was struck by an oncoming vehicle. He was transported to Tri-City Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
The second crash happened early Monday morning on state Route 94 near College Avenue in Lemon Grove. In this incident, a vehicle rear-ended 47-year-old John Nealis of El Cajon at high speed, ejecting him from his motorcycle. Nealis died at the scene.
Investigations into both accidents are ongoing.
