Fatal Normal shooting death of Randell E. Glass – Obituary
Randell E. Glass, an 18-year-old from Oak Lawn, was shot and killed early Sunday morning near the Illinois State University campus. According to McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder, Glass succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds during an incident that occurred in the 300 block of North Main Street shortly before 3:45 a.m. Another 18-year-old male was also injured in the shooting and is currently in critical condition. Police responded to the area to disperse a large party when they heard gunfire and discovered the two victims nearby. Authorities believe this incident could mark Normal’s third homicide of the year.
