Stephen Michael Prough dies in fatal Lake Isabella motorcycle crash
Fatal Lake Isabella motorcycle crash death of Stephen Michael Prough – Obituary
Stephen Michael Prough, a 60-year-old motorcyclist from Weldon, lost his life in a collision on Highway 178 near McCray Road on Friday afternoon. The accident occurred around 5 p.m. when Prough’s motorcycle struck a truck that was making a westbound turn onto Highway 178 from a stop sign.
Authorities pronounced Prough dead at the scene of the crash. The California Highway Patrol reported that Prough was traveling eastbound when the incident happened. According to preliminary investigations, drugs and alcohol did not appear to be contributing factors in this tragic accident.
