Authorities have confirmed that the victim of a fatal shooting on Saturday is 19-year-old Niyjiel T. Brown, originally from Texas. Brown was shot early in the morning in the 7800 block of Southeast Aspen Summit Drive, where police discovered his body outside an apartment building.
His mother, Troinisha Black, noted that Brown had recently graduated from Northwest High School in Justin, Texas.
