Ronald Erickson dies in fatal Schoolcraft shooting
Fatal Schoolcraft shooting death of Ronald Erickson – Obituary.
Authorities have confirmed the identity of the man shot and killed during a confrontation in Schoolcraft. The victim, 53-year-old Ronald Erickson, was shot during an argument with his neighbor, 45-year-old Eric Newman, at around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday at a residence on E VW Avenue. Erickson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Newman has been charged with open murder and felony firearms, with his bail set at $1,000,000. He is scheduled to appear in court again on October 15.
