Fatal Bexar County crash death of Henry Casas Jr. – Obituary
A tragic incident in Bexar County claimed the life of 14-year-old Henry Casas Jr. early Saturday morning. The accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on private property along Zigmont Road, south of FM 1346. According to authorities, Casas Jr. was a passenger in an SUV being driven by a 16-year-old who was performing donuts. The vehicle flipped, resulting in Casas Jr. being ejected from the SUV. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Casas Jr.’s family described him as a cheerful boy who loved football and enjoyed spending time with his two older sisters. The driver of the SUV has since been charged with manslaughter and injury to a child. In addition, four other teenagers who were in the vehicle sustained injuries but are expected to recover.
